Sehnsucht im Gepäck. Inspiriert von einer Stadt, die sich selbst pausenlos wandelt, schwer zu sagen, wo die Skyline bewegender wirkt: hoch über dem East River oder unter der Brooklyn Bridge. Geste, Duktus, Form, leidenschaftliche Linien und Struktur; großflächig werden diese Begriffe in Verbindung mit Materialzugaben in Form von Stoff, Papier, Zeichnung und Schriftzügen malerisch umgesetzt. Einerseits zu einer gesehenen/erlebten, mehr geplanten, entworfenen Komposition und andererseits zu einer offenen, spontanen Prozessmalerei.

Longing in your luggage. Inspired by a city that is constantly changing, it’s hard to say where the skyline is more moving: high above the East River or under the Brooklyn Bridge. Gesture, flow, form, passionate lines and structure; these terms are painterly realized on a large scale in combination with material additions in the form of fabric, paper, drawing and lettering. On the one hand to a seen/experienced, more planned, designed composition and on the other hand to an open, spontaneous process painting.
